Losing weight is a big challenge. One of our investors took the challenge last year and lost a whopping 25 lbs! When we asked them how they did it, they shared the following strategy to lose 1lb a week. This was achieved by maintaining a calorie deficit of 500 calories per day as one pound is 3500 calories. (7 days x 500 calories = 3500 cal). The app myfitnesspal is great for tracking your calories and was a key tool for their success.
